Re: Aussie Millions Player of the Year 2012 (unofficial) 2012 01 26 08:14 pmHey Dalek, Can't contribute much as an interested observer, but I did wonder how, in spite of the buy-in, a single win in a 22-man tourney can be weighted so strongly (270 pts?). Otherwise it seems okay to someone as ignorant of these things as I! Good luck with it, BFB

| 2012 01 16 10:08 pm Seriously Dr_P? I mean, SERIOUSLY??? Have you even read the posts? The fake questions asked and then ANSWERED by the same poster? Responding to almost EVERY new post with a nothing response. The absolute brain-numbing banality? Every day? SERIOUSLY? This cannot be a serious contributor or perhaps even real person. I may be wrong, perhaps I am, but this seems like pure troll to me. I don't believe they are in the 'Gong, or perhaps even Australia. Until proven otherwise, I am skeptical and unconvinced. You, however, have no excuse for YOUR baseless, thinly veiled, passive-aggressive ad-hominem attack. Good one sport! So, retract, apologise, or go f*ck yourself! Have a nice day. BFB | |||

any favours by pursuing it above. I don't know what type of household you are referring to, but it is like nothing I am familiar with in the 'first-world'. Quote:

Cookies in a jar in a typical household are considered common property, do you really want to run with THIS as an example? Come on mate! Think! Common property is common property, and even though "free" items CAN in fact be stolen, there are well set-out guidelines for such matters. It does not take much to have a look at the various criminal codes, regulations, laws and statues, etc., to find out whether something is right or wrong AT LAW! A better example would be what would/should "someone" do if that same person took a cookie from a packet in a supermarket, or from another person. Or if you just bought a cookie to eat it, put it down to get some napkins and came back to find someone has taken it - see John, better examples. Are any of these stealing/theft/larceny? Wait a moment before answering, think about your answer, pause a moment. Got it? Now that you have an answer in mind, test your example by exchanging "cookie" for something else, and see if the same principle applies. What about a gold-ingot? Does that change your answer - if it does, then your first answer was WRONG. Try it again, swap the cookie for . . . a car, does your first answer stay the same? What about a wallet? Or a couple of poker-chips from YOUR stack? Or a bottle of booze from your club's fridge? If you have the same answer for ALL of these examples, then great. If not, then you might want to reassess the whole "cookie"/"dollar" theft thing. BFB

Re: Aboriginal THIEF gets loot... 2011 12 24 02:35 pm"Justice prevailed" - what fkn moron said this? Good one dribbler. It is SO ridiculously amazing how the vocal ignorant "think" they are right - and so therefore they are. They must be, 'cos they said so themselves. Hahahaha! Moronic. Yes, everyone, let's forget the law, forget propriety, forget facts, logic and intelligence. Let's just go for the lowest (read = dumbest) common denominator and think that ... uhuh, 'cos I'd do this mesulf, den I tink dat she shood hav da munee. Even this: "The gambling watchdog prevents casinos from paying out such wins" . . note the words The gambling watchdog, NOT the Casino, the ruling authority. But let's forget that as well. "the casino was not allowed to honour the win owing to rules imposed by the State Government regulator, the Office of Liquor and Gambling Commissioner", but let's ignore that as well, and then after ignoring it, let's RETROSPECTIVELY impose a new rule made up by the idiots from the LCD/DCD. How would you fools feel if YOU held a credit in the machine, went for a quick piss, or to get a drink, and came back to find someone jumping up and down and cheering at the jackpot they just won on YOUR machine - with YOUR credit. You hypocrites would be as dirty as hell, and I'll bet you wouldn't be spruiking the BULLSHIT you are spewing here. You people are jokes. Grow a fkg brain. Idiots. BFB
Re: When will the Americans learn? 2011 12 05 09:02 pmHey JK, As mentioned in a previous post, here's a true - ie: NOT plagiarised - story for you: The Dumb American Traveller in Greece: "Many years ago I was travelling from Rome, Italy to Athens, Greece and as part of the trip (having already caught the ferry across from Italy) I decided to catch a bus from Igoumenitsa to Athens. Not a bad trip all-in-all even though it was about eight hours long. On this bus were the usual mix of local Greeks going from one part of the country to another, but this time, along with an excited Australian (me!), there was also an amazed and dazed American student. He was quite keen and personable but something about him - probably his almost absolute ignorance of the real world - made me feel like I really did not want to talk to him. It was about an hour or so into the trip when he first spoke to someone on the bus. He tried to talk with a fellow in a seat near his and had a little success, but unperturbed he spoke to other passengers until he found one with whom he could reasonably communicate. Then it started. One ridiculous statement after another: We have electricity over in America, do you have electricity over here? Oh, I was amazed when I saw that you people had cars and buses and stuff. Oh, my god, that's amazing . . . you have telephones, I thought only America had telephones! Oh, wow, you have TV here too!! That's amazing! That was just the start of it. Almost eight hours of 'oh my god!', 'oh, really!', 'wow, that's amazing'. The clincher, almost without doubt, was this one: he began to tell the other poor, friendly and yet unsuspecting passenger how he was a student in California, in his third year of study. He spoke of what he was studying and all the rest, when the poor fellow he was talking to made the mistake of asking where he studied. This dumb traveller said "Oh, I go to UCLA, you know, that is the University of California . . . . - oh, wait a minute, do you people have universities over here???" I was stunned, did this man have no idea where he was! He had no idea that it was the Greeks who INVENTED University. Did he really have no idea that the fraternity he belongs to (whichever one it was) has Greek letters symbolising it, and that the Greek letters are from . . . the Greeks! Greece! The place in which he was now travelling. How could he possibly NOT know any of this, how could he be so ridiculously ignorant? And yet he was. I could not hold my tongue any longer, I had to say something. But then I saw the 'poor' Greek fellow, as I thought he was, and noticed that he was having almost as much fun hearing about this dumb traveller's ignorance as I was, and with a bit of a wink and a lot of restraint (stopping myself from laughing loudly) the rest of the trip kind of blended into the surroundings and became an absolute and absurd advertisement for stupidity. Eventually this dumb American decided that maybe he was being a little too loud for how stupid he was being and a far quieter end to the ride was had by all who remained on the bus the rest of the way to Athens. Thank Zeus!" How's that JK? Want another one? BFB
