| gazumping the rumour mill | 2010 06 03 04:10 pm | Just thought I'd get in early before the story comes out and there is speculation/rumour mongering etc. Effective 30 June I will no longer be affiliated with PokerStars as either member of Team Pro Australia or otherwise. Unfortunately, I'm not really at liberty to discuss the nuts and bolts of the decision, although obviously some could speculate why this may or may not have happened. It seems moving forward Team PokerStars Pro Australia will consist of Joe Hachem and Tony Hachem. I wish them both well in their continued role/s. It would be remiss of me not to thank PokerStars for the opportunities they have provided me over the past two and a half years and congratulate them on the excellent work they do in promoting and driving poker in the Australasian market. Look forward to seeing all the regs at the coming stops on the tour. pz |
| NSW State of Origin team | 2010 05 21 10:04 am | Due to Julian Cohen's brilliant gazumping in announcing Daniel Neilson's inclusion in the team, I thought it best to start this thread. Team captain assadourian has asked me to post here to get ideas on who the people believe should be in this years NSW State of Origin team and why. I would like to stress that this is not going to be a popularity contest. Eric will choose players, on the most part, based on results over the past twelve months, so suggestions/applications should keep this in mind. Also, the make-up of the team will be similar to last years in that 2 qualifiers from Star City will be included.
