The first week of this Challenge did not really go to plan, and all we have to show is a loss of $558.43 for the week (-4.76%), so I have had to reduce the maximum bet down to $75. Main reasons were a few breakeven and losing days in the baseball, coupled with a horrendous night on the Tennis and I was behind the 8-ball early. Friday night again was tough, as I was banking on a closer win by Collingwood, and the Broncos winning cost me quite a bit in multis etc. Nevertheless we recovered somewhat towards the end of the weekend, though it was far from the best weekend AFL w

Its no secret that over the last few months I have taken to sports betting like a duck to water. I have always bet on sports, but not like this. I used to throw $50-$100 on a selection to keep the game interesting, and to be honest I was probably down long term though I was never taking it too seriously. That all changed at the start of this year.

In Sydney on my own on this retarded conference, so I thought I'd register for a few of the 5pm-6pm tournies - hardly taking them seriously till I got to the last few tables on the $109 Turbo on Stars with about average chips thanks to hitting 2 flushes after getting it in on the flop with flush draws.

It has been a while since my last blog post but the brief run down is that I have been running pretty good at the pokerz with Feb being my best month on record.Following on from the second in the Cake 109 for $2,700, I had a 5th in the $129 KO on FTP for $3,500 a few days later 2nd in the $75 $24K also on FTP for $5,400, then I finally broke through and actually won a tournament - this time on Stars, the $55 500 cap for a healthy $4,800 and followed up with a 6th in the FTP $30Rebuy last week for $1550.

After a total disaster on Thursday where for some reason I thought I would up the ante and play a handful of bigger tournaments than I normally do. The air of invincibility was evident as I registered in the $162's and $30 rebuys as if I was sure I would Final Table them all.....I bricked them all and only had a min cash the $11 Cashout on FTP ($9.04) to show for the early stuff. Still going strong with the $33 $5K on iPoker I thought I'd register for the $55 Turbo on Redback and ended up Final Tabling both but was still down....way down for the day - My normal ABI of $35 someho
