| What a sick sick poker hand and Mac vs PC | 2008 04 16 03:25 am | So, I had AAJ9 and the flop came A99 and the other guy had KKKQ and the turn came T and river J to complete his royal flush, pretty sick.Anyway....So I just bought a MacBook Air, it's quit possibly the sexiest thing I've ever seen. But what this is about is the operating system. The Mac OS is gorgeous in ways PC people could not comprehend... but my god the incompatibility issues are annoying. I'm considering switching over to Windows... who has done this on a mac? what are the pros and cons etc etc? |

| New Caledonia - April 3rd to April 10th | 2008 03 30 08:39 pm | Been investigating this as a holiday destination. Flights are 712 from Brisbane, 682 from Sydney and 951 from Melbourne, all return. Accomodation as yet unplanned but will look into an apartment (with wireless net so you can bring poker with you) style to minimise costs for everyone.Noone is confirmed as I came up with this idea 20 minutes ago, but if I get 2 (acceptable) people who want to go, I will 100% be in.If noone wants to go, that's all good, but if you're interested post here ASAP so I can book and make this happen. Now just to put this into perspective it was early in a tourney and I had 2x average and this guy was the only person who had me covered? I decided to fold as I knew I could find a better spot later against him (perhaps a set vs top pair or something).What would you have done? |
