| Mundine Vs Wood | 2010 12 01 03:17 pm | Next Wednesday Anthony Man Mundine vs Garth "The Hood" Wood Its probably gonna be as one sided as Green vs Briggs and at 1.10 for Mundine should be easy money, probably going to come in to 1.05 or less before the fight. I give wood a small chance, always will have a punchers chance. He boxed awkward throughout the Contender and came through against much better opponents. This awkwardness might save him here. If he doesnt flat pass out from 12 rounds of boxing, he might make it through to points decision (probably a loss but yeh make the distance). Anyway - Backing Mundine to win by Points at what might be a bit of value. |

| Stacking chips and Betting in Cash Game? | 2010 08 16 01:01 pm | Just a question, that came up saturday night/sunday morning... was very tired and cbf disputing this at the time at star city. There was an incrediably drunk bloke there and he was basically getting lucky all the time throughout and had bout 1.5k at the 80/100 table. I had about $500 on me at the time but I had my $100 chips in a stack at the back right. One hand came up where I had the nut flush and he had a Jack high flush. He says " Put ya all in eh" and pulls out a bunch of hundreds (more than 5) and throws them in the middle. I start to pull out my hundreds from the back and count them and then starts having a go at me coz he didnt see them and starts to pull his chips back. The dealer said the players should see your chips and only could put out about 150 that I had in front. Most of the players could see the other chips, with that in mind, was the dealer's decision right? And do you always have to show all your chips and have the large denoms in front? Side Question - Does anybody actually play the max bet of table stake (so $100) at the 80/100 table? |
| Danny Green Vs Paul Briggs | 2010 07 20 12:11 pm | Tomorow night, Green Machine, world champ who is on a roll recently comes up against Paul Briggs who hasnt fought in years, had two months to prepare and didnt pass the requirements to fight in NSW!. I dont see how they can call this a Boxing match. Briggs is just after one last pay and will no doubt go down after the first clean punch. Danny green is at 1.10 to win the fight and reckon they will put up win by KO at about 1.25 - 1.30. Its a absolute certainty. If they put up a price over 1.75 for KO in first 3 rounds, its way overs |
