Ivey: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}
Brunson: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} / {x-}
Monnette {x-}{x-} / {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} (FOLDED)

Adam Friedman was the bring in showing the {2-Diamonds} and Phil Ivey completed. John Monnette and Todd Brunson also completed and Friedman folded. Ivey and Monnette checked fourth and Brunson bet out. Ivey called and Monnette got out of the way.

Ivey check-raised all in and Brunson called, showing {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades} while Ivey was ahead with a pair of sevens. Brunson caught a {4-Clubs} on seventh street to give him the wheel, which shipped the entire pot his way and sent Ivey packing, his hopes of a ninth bracelet dashed.

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {x-}

Ivey completed, moving all in for 9,000, and Brunson and Friedman called. The two players checked it all the way down, and Ivey opened up {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of aces, and Brunson tabled {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a low. The two chopped the pot.

A few hands later...

Nikolai Yakovenko recently won a big pot off of John Monnette. We missed the exact action, but Yakovenko made threes full of kings, and Monnette mucked.

Nikolai Yakovenko {x-}{x-} / {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} / {x-}

Brunson brought it in, Ivey called, and Yakovenko raised. Brunson released, and Ivey called all in, turning over {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Yakovenko opened up {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, and had a low by sixth street. When Yakovenko turned over the {10-Clubs} on seventh, all Ivey needed to do was pair.

He did. The {8-Hearts} was good enough for half the pot, earning him half of the antes and the bring in.

Ivey is visably frustrated at the table, and can't get anything going.
