Bottom line is it was a mistake by a TD that they are paying and have a responsibility to make sure he is professional and correct in rulings.

A show of good faith would be nice + public apology, + assurance that they are putting procedures in place to ensure this won't happen again or at least the risk of it is heavily reduced.
I'd be quite happy to support NPL with this sort of resolution! If this can't happen I can see why a lot of players would make the decision not to play in their games.
