A mistake? That's what you classify this as?
So I take it you work for NPL then or are affiliated in some way?
You seem to take issue with my disgust with this ruling and noone elses.
Let me make this very clear; in a tournament, especially one with this prizepool on offer, to make basic mistakes as a TD should not be tolerated, especially one as blatantly wrong and unfair as this one.
Secondly, I heard this story first hand from Jonno whilst I was playing in a tournament. He heard the news before I did, so it obviously circulated quickly enough after it occurred.
Finally, I am fully aware that this is issue has been raised with FIDPA. And even if you don't believe me, you only need to read On The Mac's comment above.
