Lethal I had no intention of commenting on this sad event at all until I read what I believed to be incorrect accounts of the action. My account is as best I remember it, and being less than 8 inches from the action it did resonate. As you surmize I am in Jacky's corner if only because the fruits of victory by forfeit should be like ashes in our mouth.
I was at pains not to malign Lee's character. I do not know him well yet he seemed like a likeable bloke. Having said that he did seem to me to have called the TD over with determination rather than with query and we should all be held accountable for our actions.
My intention was never to add fuel to the fire but rather to correct inaccuracies as I best recall them. Further I do not beleive anyone - player or TD - should have their character assassinated on the basis of one inopportune moment.
