IveyPoker.com Sign Jackie Glazier as a Sponsored Pro!

Jackie Glazier received a late Christmas present this weekend when she was signed up by IveyPoker.com, a yet-to-be-launched poker site that, as the name suggests, has the backing of Phil Ivey.

Glazier is one of Australia’s most famous players and one who has been rising through the ranks in the past few years. Last year was her best yet at the felt as she cashed 10 times, reched four final tables and won one event – the $1,000 buy-in Main Event at the 2012 Melbourne Poker Championship. Glazier almost brought home a World Series of Poker bracelet too, but she fell at the final hurdle and finished second to Greg Ostrander in Event #41 of the 2012 WSOP; the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em event.

With over $915,000 in live tournament winnings, Glazier is currently 17th in the Australian all-time money list and 24th in the Women’s all-time money list. Now that she has secured the sponsorship from IveyPoker.com, PokerNetwork would not be surprised in the slightest to see Glazier climb up those lists very quickly.

Glazier was introduced alongside two other talented players. The first was Christian “Charder” Harder, who has combined live and online winnings of around $4,000,000 and the other being Griffin “Flush Entity” Benger of Canada. Benger has been in the top 10 places of the online rankings for the past couple of years.

IveyPoker.com now has 21 pros in its stable despite the fact they have yet to launch. Although no official word has come from the IveyPoker.com camp, it is believed the site is going to offer real money poker and feature a number of training videos from its impressive stable of professional players. As soon as any IveyPoker.om news breaks, we will bring you it.

Congratulations to Jackie Glazier on her new sponsorship deal. PokerNetwork wish you the very best of luck for the coming years and hope the IveyPoker.com patches bring you plenty of success!
