Lots going on this week
Hi all...the last couple days have been ok, most notably a 2nd in the FTP 75/24 for $5k, and 3rd place finishes in the Stars 55 sixmax and one of the Big Doubles. For some reason..I think to wake Mell one morning...my iPod found itself on Katy Perry's new album (Teenage Dream) and has been looping that for the last four sessions..I must've heard the whole thing 20 times by now. Anyway it's pretty listenable if you're into pop. Hmm...could be time for another token Katy Perry pic..

The week has been really busy...at bootcamp we did the monthly fitness test which records how many pushups and situps you can do in three minutes, a timed prone hold, and the nasty beep test. I scored a 7.4 in the beep test which is.. well, pretty reflective of the fact that I'm a 31 year old that plays poker for a living haha. Anyway it can only go up from here right?
Also I've convinced Mell to watch The Sopranos since she enjoyed The Wire so much..I've seen bits of it here and there but never the whole thing, so we've kicked off from scratch and are early into the second season..book reading is on hold at the moment 
Tonight lots of blow-in crew are around the city prior to ANZPT Melbourne so I've booked Teahouse at Chinatown for dinner; it will probably end up being baza88, dave798111 and his gf, higher_wattage, rawkz, me and whoever donks off early enough in today's sixmax event. Depending on how loose our post-dinner game is I may or may not be on tomorrow, ahead of the Main Event on Saturday.
