Roaring 30s...
Hey all..just touching base..the week has been decent without being awesome; I've had final tables in the lunchtime 3r, 27 big antes, FTP 24k and the big fuper today, though sadly I bowed out in 9th when it was 31k for first. It was quite a tough field today with the WCOOP 1k on, and I found myself having to pull the trigger preflop a lot more in the late game lest I get run over by aggro HSMTTers. I think I made a bad turn peel in one spot vs zestfully clean on the FT but otherwise I was pretty happy with how I played.
For those of you who don't know, I turn 31 on Sunday (omg_oldpeople!). So I'm a fair bit older than most of the online guys but hopefully I keep up with them most of the time eh eh.. such a sick beat when I found out I was a few weeks older than Levy..I think kennl is the only Aussie reg born before 1979 lol. Mell has something planned for what I understand to be the entire weekend, however she loves a surprise so I have no clue what it is. She thinks these presents through really carefully so that they always mean something...I remember when I was in the middle of making some pretty significant life changes, she took me skydiving to reflect confronting fears and facing life head on...I don't know what this year will be but I'm sure she thinks I work way too hard so I won't be surprised if whatever we're doing involves a lot of relaxing, which is fine by me
I'm not having an official birthday party since we're going to be away, but I will probably do drinks next Friday night somewhere in Melbourne.
Also very stoked because Berky managed to secure tickets to the Pies v Cats game at the MCG Friday night... so the plan for the rest of the week is to make a few more FTs, celebrate a Collingwood win (go Pies!), and have an awesome birthday weekend
