    Default Brisbane Treasury Tourneys

For info for any Briz ppl that may not already know there are some new things scheduled there......

    monday....nights Super 60..... 23rd Jan to 7th May 18:30 $60 buy-in

    thur nights.... poker league.....2nd Feb to 12th April 18:30 $110 buy-in

    sun...............deep stack.......5th Feb and 4th Mar 14:30 $250 buy-in 20K ss

    Jul ................Briz Poker Champs.......date Mid-Jul.......buy-in $1100.

Very little chance any1 who doesn't drop in to have a look at notice boards would know about any of these, so thought I'd post the details here.

The Aussie Millions last chance $170 buy-in on last 2 nights only got about 12 starters and the last 1 is tonight 18:30 ( 1 in 10 to level 3 which is 1 in 8 to AM main event).

I did this for a little while thinking that they would start advertising tournies on their web site or even start a facebook page but the interest was not forthcoming.

"It's on the board" is not good enough interest for me, so Jupiters has been getting my seat.

Is there anything 'on the board' for WPPT sat's?

Thanx's for the update boreemax. The Deep Stacks look good for me.

Treasury staff encourage regs who threaten violence Nd encourage angle shooting. Lifelong botcott of treasury, all queenslanders should play at jupiters instead if they want to play live

I played a tourney @ treasury once. Pretty sure it was a $60. Had been opening many pots so found myself snap 4-bet jamming AQ for 25bb early on against some reg who was trying to tell the dealers how to do their job. Reg has JJ. Tried to wish him luck but he ignored me. Flop was QJx. Tried to shake his hand when a brick dropped on the turn leaving me drawing dead. Once again he ignored me. A queen fell on the river and he slammed his fist down on the table in disappointment before realising that he had indeed filled up. live regs gonna live reg i spose

The WPPT sats have just started at Jupiters and will soon attract more players as the word gets out.

All the sat details are posted on the Jupiters website along with the regular tourney info.
