Action folded to Yevgeniy Timoshenko in the small blind and he moved all in to out a short-stacked Erik Seidel to the test in the big. Seidel, who finished tenth in the 2014 Aussie Millions Main Event last night, called off for 280,000 and was in prime shape to double.

Seidel: {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Timoshenko: {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Both players held an eight, which meant Sidel's jack had him well out in front. Unfortunately for him, the flop came down {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to deliver Timoshenko two pair. The {K-Diamonds} turn gave Seidel some counterfeit outs, but he came up empty when the {7-Diamonds} blanked on the river.
