The Sunday Briefing: Russell Thomas Wins The PokerStars Sunday Million

March Madness extended well beyond the basketball courts this weekend as several notable players notched excellent Sunday scores. The biggest went to 2012 World Series of Poker Octo-Niner Russell "into2ndWind" Thomas. He emerged victorious in the PokerStars Sunday Million for $219,184.

Team PokerStars Pro Max Lykov collected six figures as well, earning $110,780 for outlasting the field in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up. Russell "rdcrsn" Carson and Jonathan "Iftarii" Jaffe were in the winner's circle as well, while the MicroMillions 4 also wrapped up with "Ges26" besting a field of 68,081 for $140,469.
