Do you have friend or family who have jetted out to Las Vegas where they are chasing their dreams and hoping to become the winner of a World Series of Poker bracelet?
Last week we brought you a table of results from Event #1-17 of the 2013 WSOP, today we add to that list the Australian and New Zealand players’ results from Event 18 through to Event 26
As you can see from the table, there has not been many cashes by Australian or New Zealand players since we last updated it, but there have been a couple of very impressive results.
Gary Benson managed to reach the final table of the $2,500 Seven Card Stud event, before crashing out on sixth place for a $24,003 boost too his bankroll. Those of you old enough to remember may recall Benson won a $1,500 Seven Card Stud event in 1996, which bagged Benson $148,200; this is still his largest cash to date.
This latest result was Benson’s second cash of the series so far, which ties him with Tam Truong for most cashes.
The largest cash by an Australian or New Zealand player at the 2013 WSOP currently stands at an impressive $117,799. This is the amount Michel Bouskila won for finishing sixth from a field of 4,407 in the $1,000 Seniors No Limit Hold’em event and is an amount that is going to take some beating.
