i hope the main event is guaranteed and also that you are very clear to players about your stringent rules on string betting!

Good point Jake

The Adelaide Casino's PokerZone does have a slightly stricter string betting policy.

Our tables have a 'line'. Basically if a player puts chips out on the dealers side of this line thats where the chips stay - no more no less, providing of course the amount of chips is sufficent to be deemed a legtimate bet/raise etc.

To put is very simply, players should announce there bet or raise before moving any chips beyond their side of the line or alternatively, make up their entrie bet before pushing any across the line.

Cheers,

David Galpin

I found this Jono, not sure if its going to be the same or similar.

this was posted on Cardplayer.com

"For a triple chance event, each player will start off with a stack of chips and two opportunities to collect more chips within the first two levels of the tournament. Unlike online tournaments where a player can only buy back after he or she has busted, a player can use their two extra “chances” at any time during the tournament’s first two levels — including at the very beginning of the event."

Thanks Screbner,

Jono - Screbner is for the most part correct though we will allow entrants to use their extra chances during the first THREE levels.

We have often run a $450 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em tournament and this has been quite popular. By making this a 'Triple Chance' tournament I believe this will sell out quite early.

Look forward to seeing you there Jono!

Cheers,

PLEASE NOTE - Event 6 has been replaced with Pot Limit Omaha.

We will slot in 'another game' upon government approval of it at Adelaide Casino.

Hi Jake,

No typo for the Melbourne Satellite.

Re-buys are $100, single add-ons $100, double $150.

$2700 buy-in for Melbourne ANZPT means this satellite tournament should generate a little over a 1 in 5 chance of winning a ticket.

Cheers,

David Galpin
