DefaultBrendon Rubie fundraiser

Hi guys, Brendon Rubie has asked me to help promote a fundraising event he is hosting on Full Tilt next week. It's for a great cause so it would be great if everyone could be involved. See below for details, cheers.

"Next Sunday, May 29th, I will be hosting a fundraiser on Full Tilt Poker to help raise funds for my father who, every year, goes to Samoa with other doctors and Christians treating less fortunate patients from town to town at no cost. Please read below for more information about their annual services to Samoa. The tournament i will be running will be a $50 buy in and $25 will go to the prizepool and $25 will go to the charity. There will be many of Australias best online players including Full Tilt Red Pros Simon Watt, Jackie Glazier, Mark Vos and Jonathan Karamalikis playing so you'll get a chance to take on Australia's best! Alternatively if you wish to donate directly as you cannot play the tournament or just wish to help out even more there are bank details for direct donations too. Tournament info are as follows."

+1.

With not paying their US customers, FTP should be avoided by every other player in the world as a sign of solidarity for our American collegues.

Instead of Rubie asking us for $25, perhaps next year he can skip the $100k event at the Aussie Millions.

Massive douchebaggery ITT

Rubie is the stone cold nuts and anyone hating on him for organising a charity tournament can go fuck themselves.

It's a fundraiser, something that a community gets together and supports and helps out, not something a single person donates to.

Good on Brendon for using his profile in this community of ours to pull together for a worth while cause..........in saying this though, I think he would get a lot more interest if only $15 went towards the charity, rather than $25. I know it is not much of a difference but it would be to a lot of people.

I personally will donate the latest 2011 pocket bike if he gets in touch with me to organize it.
These things are a good laugh. 50cc, race modified and reach up to 60kmph.
Just to add a lill something to the tournament......shipping included inside Australia....

(I don't sell these, just purchased a stack of them at a good price with a mate from the Telly for a laugh at one of their red carpet events )
