The 2013 World Series of Poker is in its final stages over in Las Vegas and that means that the eagerly anticipated Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) Platinum Series is only a couple of weeks away.

Being held at the PokerStars LIVE poker room in the luxurious City of Dreams casino in Macau, the ACOP Platinum Series runs from July 11 to July 14, during which time four events take place, including the HK$500,000 Guaranteed Main Event.

ACOP Platinum Series Schedule

Date	Time	Tournament (HKD)
Thu 11 Jul	19:00	$1,000 Pot Limit Omaha Deepstack
Fri 12 Jul	19:00	$1,500 No Limit Hold’em Deepstack
Sat 13 Jul	18:00	$5,500 No Limit Hold’em Main Event ($500,000 Guarantee)
Sun 14 Jul	15:00	$2,500 No Limit Hold’em KO Bounty

Each of the four events will award Asia Player of the Year points, while a deep run in the $5,500 Main Event is rewarded not only financially but with a ticker to a special playoff to be held at PokerStars. The top 10 finishers will each win a seat to this online playoff where the eventual champion walks away with a HK$100,000 ACOP Main Event seat; the ACOP taking place in October, of course.
