She clearly deserved to ship after being CL for a whole hour.

APL are lying cheating scums,

The APL tour ticket has been valued at $1350 at various events all over Australia however with a total pool of $203,000 and a starting field of 203 at the recent Sydney event that places the value of the ticket at $1100 at best?

I personally am sick of this free for all nature in the poker community ......venues taking more rake than adequate???

These amateur (here for a laugh and good time) players are unwittingly being fleeced for $1000's of dollars each week.

The Cash tables they run .....taking 10% form each pot with the blinds at $2 $3 and the average player buying in for $120. That's $1000 on the table with the class of (tilted call raises with 810 drunk) players most pots exceed the $80 mark so that's $8 a hand raked, minimum after 4 hrs of play at around 12 hands played per hour they have raked a minimum of $386 max of $800 between 2 Td's on top of their hourly wage tax free they have done well for themselves, that's just at an average game.

My example of corruption will be a recent WA regional finals 500+ starting players 100+ on tilt from semi early busts 6+ cash tables with TD's licking their lips at $3/$5 binds avg pot at $100.
Cash tables started at 2pm and continued till 10pm that's 8hrs 12 pots an hour x 6 tables that's a ridiculous total minimum rake of $5760 not to mention the fact they also run $20 and $50 sng's on the side taking 1 seat rake.

This is why years ago Poker was considered a scumbag game where people were stolen from and manipulated out of their cash.
Its just a matter of time before this does a full circle and all the fish die out.

I personally have taken my time out to personally attend these venues and make aware to regs that they are being conned out of $100's of dollars and the response has been amazement as most haven't thought where all the money ends up and the processes that have been set to make them believe its legit.

OdZ
Your not the first and you won't be the last
APL are profit driven are not not interested in providing 'POKER' for the players.
They are solely intersted in providing 'ENTERTAINMENT' for a profit.

Tweed Heads ' The Big Game'
They raked anywhere up to $8,000 from a $30k pool by over valuing their ticket prices and going over the 256 player cap which was advertised

They ran 280 players (obv 34 above cap) and didn't transfer any of said buy ins to the pool.

I was basically told to get fucked when I enquired about the variance and all APL HQ enquiries failed.

I have reported them to the ACCC, Racing, gaming and liquor as well as other various fraud exposing organisations.

To the high stake's regs on here who think this is a level think what you want but the reg APL players are aware as ive spoken to many and I assure you It is all factual and legitamit.
I know some of you don't give a F about APL thats fine just disregard my comments but to all those others I know that you know that APL has been doing this for a while the thing i think you all don't realize is this business runs 100's of venues each week making this a scam in the $100, 000's of dollars per year.

I have recorded events that have taken place for a while now, recorded prize pool paid as opposed to total runners and buy in's and have discovered solid discrepancies where a couple of hundred has been unacounted for each time x that buy 100+ venues a week x that by 52 weeks a year.

So fine you think who care's but this is a huge scam that nearly everyone knows is going on yet say nothing.

For those of you who think I'm exaggerating or have my wires crossed I can name examples with proof of buy in x runners - rake not matching the total prize pool paid.

No one pays attention as they are usually just drunk here for a good time players expecting to lose their money anyway.

Let me know if you have similar circumstances as I personally have gained enough solid evidence to justify my accusations as this recent APL Pro Tour has put it in the care factor category for the ATO and when they get involved things happen.
