other than a blistering 14th (out of 47, snigger) starters in the Vic Champs Stud event 18 mths ago, I only play NLHE.

format will change I'm sure between now and then, but what events would you recommend for a first WSOP?

I have a rock solid plan to get into the ME, the aim is of course to qualify online outright which should be easy of course. But in the unlikely event I do not win a seat then my plan is to go to Vegas anyway and play in event 54, a $1k buy-in, which I will pay for through blackjack winnings. Then once I have cashed deep enough to get $10k I will enter the ME.

I can't really see how this can fail.

2009- Became accepted, as the voice of reason on PNW, helped J.K to deter too many 'young guns' throwing away their lives, finances and honour, to the impossible dreams, which are granted unfortunately, to only of few of us proffessionals.

2010- to continue in my advisory capacity, consultant to the dispossesed, and of course to the talented few, push them onward to THEIR impossible dreams,
