2009 - Been a very disappointing year, on the felt and personally; highlight being the trip to the WSOP. Whilst not cashing in either of the two WSOP events (though ran reasonably deep in both) or at the Venetian Deep Stack series, the limited time I spent playing cash was worthwhile. Over the last couple of months or so, personal issues have resulted in a decision to stop playing the game (just over a month ago) , as it resulted in a major loss of focus and concentration at the table.

2010 - Hopefully, i will be in a position to get my shit together (it is slowly starting to come together) to return to the felt in time for a return trip to the US. In the meantime, I plan to study the game and read more.

All the best to all of you, may there be shippage aplenty in 2010 (at least not at my expense)!

2009
Played 20-30k hands a month of 2/4NL on Fulltilt.
I have worked as a fireman for 19 years and still love my job.
3rd year in a row making more money from cash ring poker than I do at work.
Spent 2.5k on 4 live tournaments and binked a second in the smaller event for 4.5k.
Donkaments......lol.

2010
Spend more time with family.
Play a similar amount of mid stakes cash games.
Grow BR to 100 BI's for 5/10 NL.
Examine 2 regs per month. 1 bad/mediocre reg and 1 good reg. Figure out what each of these players are doing, then exploit.

Stay away from donkaments...(leave them for the glory boys. Although I thank my lucky stars that there are donkaments to let mediocre players win and then donk off their money in the cash games.)

Good luck to everyone for the new year ahead.
May we all keep good health and enjoy our lives.
Lets always keep reminding ourselves how lucky we are to make money from this sick game that we all love!

Regards
Ace Fire.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure (well...) than to shake your hand and buy you (read: have you buy me) a beer Kenny... Unfortunately, as it stands, you could literally be anyone at the various tournies on the calendar... And, whilst begging is not beneath me, going up to everyone asking if they are u and for a pint of coopers is time consuming, and I could be at home grinding the UB $5k...

Wear a shirt that says "sup, I'm kennl", and the beers are on me all Aussie mills mate.

2009 = Best year in cashgames

2010 = Grind back the money that BetOnBet took from me, about 70% of my roll, which took me 2 years to achieve in the first place.

sif you even exist IRL.

And if you in fact do, I'm sure you are Mitchell Carle, which in that case:

a) I always say hello
b) I believe you owe me a drink
c) Get a haircut
