Not sure it matters who I am?? But just to keep u happy and not be mysterious and all... I'm Aaron. G Levy and myself are star city poker ambassadors. I already called grunter to fill him in, so I'm only filling the rest in on the current situation from my discussions with star city re: team sponsorship. Still it hasn't been decided by them, hoping to find out more on the Queens Bday tournament on Monday 13th June. Another problem is that the poker management roles haven't been finalised yet since jas and deb's departure. Makes it hard to get committed decisions at the moment. Though that is being sorted this week I believe. Well hopefully....

I met with Stephen from Star City last night.

Cliff notes:

Star City are interested in supporting the team this year (most likely through half entry fee and supply of team uniform)

They support the 'best of' concept of S.O.O and do not wish to devalue the team by supplying qualifiers as in previous years

They have some minor say on team selection (this will be in the form of recommendation of a specific player)
