NSW State of Origin official thread

These State of Origin threads get pretty full and messy pretty quickly as most ppl have some form of opinion on a lot of this stuff.

I thought i'd create this thread so that issues surrounding the NSW team ONLY can be discussed without having to filter through a bunch of other non-relevant stuff.

So, discuss away....

Obviously first and most important consideration is team selection.

I think this is as appropriate a forum as any to discuss merits of players, and I will be only too happy to consider any serious suggestions from anyone with regard to eligibility or worthiness (for want of a better word) for selection of any player put forward.

Last years team was:

Eric Assadourian
Grant Levy
Aaron Benton
Daniel Neilson
Joel Dodds
Brendan Rubie
Qualifier 1
Qualifier 2

The team finished in second place behind South Australia with Joel, myself and one of the qualifiers winning the shootout tables to advance to the FT

Going to instill a bit more team spirit this year, didn't you say most of the team deserted you guys after they busted?

Jason and Deb watched a little of the FT, and I recall Eric being there until Nic Velcic busted.

Hopefully that's not the case this year - having SA as the only team vocal in support was actually quite off-putting...

Not to hijack the NSW thread but the ENTIRE Tassie team railed and was quite vocal in their support for Heath and Ben. Just saying.
