1) what is the best way to enter the side games? Do they accept credit card entries like star city does? Or can you Somehow use stars money from ur online account to buyin? I prefer not to carry 10-20k in cash as I'll be in te USA before hand and just a pain to declare etc.

2) how do they pay winnings(ok to dream) - will they wire to my bank here and what details will I need? Iban/swift etc?

3) As Aussies do we pay tax on winnings?
DISCLAIMER: Most of this information is based on the 2010 PCA, however, it is highly unlikely to change in 2011.

1. The best way to buy-in to any side event is using your PokerStars account. A large registration area will be open in the main poker room to do so.

Foreign exchange will also be available, but as Nauv said, best not to carry large amounts of cash if possible. You should also be able to set up an account with Atlantis and wire money to their casino cage.

2. I believe you can get small payouts in cash/chips, but most winnings will be deposited into your PokerStars account. All details will be available at the Registration desk.

Wires may be available. Typically for an international wire you need bank name, account name, account number, IBAN, swift code.

3. I'm fairly certain no money is withheld, but I'll find out for sure and post here again with the answer.

1. If you mean cash games, you can withdraw from your Stars account. in 2009 they had unlimited withdrawals but in 2010 they only let u withdraw a max of 10k (nosebleed games didnt run as a result, and if u withdraw 10 and then redeposit 25 u still cant withdraw a cent thereafter aka stupid retards at desk hmphh).

2. To stars account

This. No tax forms are distributed at the PCA during the payout process. Therefore, it's up to each individual to observe laws in their local jurisdiction regarding taxes.
