It seems we don’t go a few weeks without another major online poker series, and they don’t get any bigger than the annual PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) series. Last year nearly $52 Million in prize money was awarded and this year looks set to be even bigger. It all kicks off Monday September 6th with with 59 events in total over 21 days – each day another chance to win a life-changing amount of money!
Fresh off the success of two amazing $10,000 Sunday Million Freerolls, we are once again giving PokerNetwork players a chance to qualify for the WCOOP for free with our massive $10,000 WCOOP Freeroll. One lucky player will win their seat in the WCOOP Main Event on Monday September 27th which is worth $5,200. A further 23 players will bag $215 WCOOP tickets which can be used in one of 23 $215 events during the festival.
Qualifying for this amazing freeroll is very easy. Simply download PokerStars through the links here on PokerNetwork , make a deposit and generate 250 VPPs between Aug 1 (00:00 EST) through Aug 31 (23:59 EST). Manual registration is required for qualified players after Aug 31. Just look for PokerNews $10k WCOOP Freeroll in the Private tab of the Tournament lobby. The $10,000 WCOOP Freeroll kicks off at 5:00am AEST on Monday September 6th.

Qualifying is Easy
To give you an idea how long it will take to earn 250 VPPs to qualify for this freeroll:
A $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Player would have to play around 1000 hands
A $1/$2 No Limit Player would have to play roughly 500 hands
A $1/$2 Limit Hold’em Player would need to play about 750 hands
A $0.25/$0.50 PLO Player would need to grind about 700 hands
A $5.50 SNG/MTT Player would need to play 46 games
A $22 SNG/MTT Player would need to play 23 games
And what’s more, new players will have earned $15 of their 100% up to $600 sign up bonus by the time they have qualified for the freeroll.
