Keen to get out on the live circuit this year? Now is the time to do it, with a head-spinning array of satellite qualifiers to both the APPT and ANZPT tours going right now on PokerStars.
The ANZPT Gold Coast is back for its second year in operation and will run from August 11-15 at Conrad Jupiters Casino. Meanwhile the APPT season will hold its popular Auckland event between September 11-15. The good news? You can qualify for both events, right now, on PokerStars.
Gold Coast qualifiers will run through until August 9, and include $425 package qualifiers, seat only satellites, and the popular $22 3x turbo rebuys. For those not aware the ANZPT Queenstown will be split over two venues, with SkyCity Auckland hosting a day one and day two flight for those interested. PokerStars will then pay for flights and accommodation of anyone who qualifies for day three from Auckland to go to Queenstown and join the remainder of the field. PokerStars are still running satellites to both starting points, with full packages available for Queenstown and seat only qualifiers in Auckland. July 16 will be your last chance to get on the plane to the New Zealand’s adventure capital with the event getting underway on July 17. Better have the travel agent on speed dial if you get through that one.
Finally it’s not long until the APPT returns with the next tournament taking place at SkyCity in Auckland, as New Zealand’s first ever World Series of Poker bracelet winner returns to the scene of his breakthrough victory to defend his crown.
