In yet another first for Australasian poker, PokerStars have added an exclusive regional online tournament series to their ever-growing schedule of ANZPT and APPT live events throughout the Asia-Pacific.
The PokerStars Asia Pacific Championship of Online Poker (APCOOP) will be held from the 21st to the 28th of November, featuring 11 events with a combined guaranteed prize pool of US$100,000. The action kicks off with a US$11 rebuy No Limit Hold’em Six-max Event, as well as plenty of Omaha and mixed game action, before culminating in the $215 No Limit Hold’em Main Event which features a US$50,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Apart from the chance to claim bragging rights as the best online player in the Asia-Pacific, there’s one other great thing about this series. Normally for such events, you’d have to be up at or before the crack of dawn, but the good news is they’ve all been tailored for more Aussie-friendly times – the latest start time being 8.30pm AEDST!
The APCOOP is just one of 13 regional tournament series that have now been added to the PokerStars schedule and satellites for these events are now up and running. Be sure to download PokerStars today and take your shot at online poker glory!
